The Photocopy Club Comes to Berlin

The Photocopy Club comes to Berlin

Curated photography exhibition The Photocopy Club are on a mission to get photography off the internet and put printed matter back into the hands of the public. the project was started in 2011 by curator Matt Martin, and has already shown in London, Brighton, Bristol and Hong Kong, and its entrance rules are simple: the photographs must be printed using a black and white photocopier.

The Club exists as platform for up and coming photographers to get their images off the screen and onto the walls. Exhibiting the works in a one night only exhibition, Martin hopes to turn the gallery space into a giant zine rather than follow the conventional exhibition rules. In addition, all photographs are sold for just £5, enabling all visitors the chance to own a piece of original artwork.

The Photocopy Club comes to Berlin’s Urban Spree on the April 12 2014, with the deadline to enter on April 1.
