LADINA VON FRISCHING

Some people know early on who they want to be. Others, like Ladina von Frisching, had to take a detour to arrive. The Swiss actress describes the moment her life changed course as “a blessing from above.”
Today, in her late twenties, she lives in Berlin and commutes between film shoots and different worlds. But something in her remains connected to her roots: mountains, lakes, tranquility. She used to find that tranquility annoying, but today she appreciates its origin and charm.
To understand her, you have to go back to the golf course. She discovered the sport at 16 and devoted everything to it: squad, sports school, training. “Golf is my only friend,” she said at the time. Until the passion became duty – and she left. What remained were discipline and presence. “Whether I’m standing over a ball or in front of the camera, it’s the same for me. Feeling the body, the space, the other person. Letting go of everything you prepared and then just being there.”
Von Frisching believes in the universe and that what you really want becomes possible. Today, the camera is her best friend: “It accepts me as I am.”
At the end of her life, she wants to be able to say: you experienced everything, regretted nothing. In five years, her “dream” should have become her profession – with good scripts, unique collaborators, and the certainty that if “I want something, it is possible.”
