Francis Kéré is known by his regard for community in his designs. With his many projects in Burkina Faso, Kéré tackled issues brought about by the harsh landscape in innovative, sustainable ways. Creating statements about the aspirations and ambitions of Burkina Faso through architecture has helped Kéré to bring the local population together, getting them involved.
